OUR STORY
Dear readers/listeners,
For those of you that do not know us we are The Best Part, we met in Dublin, Ireland in 2016 and started playing music together in 2018 when we formed our duo.
Finding yourself as an artist is something that takes time, patience and a lot of songs written and re-written and thrown away and picked up again years later. For us, our journey consisted of just that, writing songs, re-writing songs, thinking we had found our sound, re-thinking our sound, listening to advice that said we had to have the next "radio hit" to be successful and then coming full circle and realising what we had was special and that we need to trust our instincts.
It was only when we started to believe in what we love about music and about who we are that we found ourselves and we found our sound.
Music for us is authenticity, it's dancing with the people that you love and it's that feeling of being on top of the world, it's those melodies that remind you of a certain place or person or feeling, it's every emotion in one. The music we create is inspired by the music we love and is a product of honesty and happiness.
Our hope is that we can share this all with you in our songs and that, if nothing else, they make you feel.
To everyone who has been with us on this journey since the start, thank you so much for always believing in us and sticking around for this adventure. To all of the new listeners, whenever it may be that you discover our music, thanks for being here and welcome to the TBP family.
